Lawrence E. Kenyon

Lawrence E. Kenyon, 84, of Germantown Hills, IL passed away at 3:45 pm on Monday, November 16, 2015 at his residence. He was born on September 7, 1931 in Woodford County, IL to Clarence and Elsie (Call) Kenyon. He married Geraldine Durst on November 15, 1952 in Springfield, IL. She survives. Also surviving are his children Cindy (David) Nuest and Randy (Evelyn) Kenyson both of Germantown Hills, Stephanie (Doug) Call of Metamora, and Troy (Laurie) Kenyon of Mackinaw; seven grandchildren; and brother Harold (Rose) Kenyon of TN. He was preceded in death by one grandson and one brother. Lawrence was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War. He attended Highview Christian Church in Washington. He had been a carpenter for over 40 years, retiring in 1993. Cremation rites have been accorded. No services will be held. Online condolences at www.masonfuneralhomes.com.
