Laura A. Ledbetter

Laura A. Ledbetter, 59, of Lowpoint, IL passed away at 10:39 am on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at UnityPoint Health-Methodist, Peoria. She was born on September 11, 1956 in Decatur, IL to William and Phyllis (Huffer) Johnstone. She married Tony G. Ledbetter on October 26, 1974 in Bartonville, IL. Surviving are her husband Tony of Lowpoint; children Dustin M. (Angela E.) Ledbetter of Black River Falls, WI and Derrick L. (Melissa) Ledbetter of Peoria; grandchildren Katie L. Ledbetter, Brian Ledbetter, and David Ledbetter; and siblings Scott (Linda) Johnstone of Spring Bay and Tammy (Scott) Rassmussen of Creve Coeur. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson Andrew, and brother Dave Johnstone. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel with Reverend Gary Salm officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Cottonwood Cemetery, Hanna City. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to TAPS.
