Koby M. Guengerich, 27, of Creve Coeur, IL, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 7, 2022.

He was born on December 17, 1994, in Bloomington, IL, the son of Donald Guengerich and Kindra Huffman, but was raised by his stepfather John Knell Jr. who Koby was very close with. He married Cayce M. Fox on June 21, 2022, in Peoria County, IL.

Surviving are his wife, Cayce Guengerich of Creve Coeur, his mother, Kindra Huffman of Creve Coeur, his father, John Knell Jr. of Pekin, IL; one sister Kaila Guengerich and niece Madeline Guengerich of Collinsville, OK, Maternal grandfather Mike McCleery, Paternal grandmother Carol McKenzie, along with his father-in-law and mother-in-law Mark and Stacey Fox of Creve Coeur.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Glenda McCleery, who was his favorite person, his father Donald Guengerich, his maternal great grandparents Ray and Jessie Huffhines, and his grandfather John Knell Sr.

A visitation will be held on Monday, August 15, 2022, from 4:00 pm until 5:45 pm at Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington. A funeral service is scheduled for 6:00 pm also at the funeral home.
