Kenneth E. Hostetler, 81, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2025, at Snyder Village Retirement Community in Metamora, IL.

He was born in Shelbyville, IL, on September 15, 1943, to Ira and Velma (Ulrich) Hostetler, the 7th of 8 siblings.  Survivors include two brothers, Roy (Ruth) Hostetler and Raymond (Joanne) Hostetler all of Eureka, IL, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, and several great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Milton and Lawrence, three sisters, Lela Stewart, Emma and Betty, one nephew, John, two great-nephews, Jeremy and Howard, and one sister-in-law, Arzalea.

Kenneth was employed at Sam Leman Chevrolet in Roanoke, IL prior to moving to Indianapolis to service two years of 1W Service.  He made Indianapolis his home and was employed in the parts department at Mohr Chevrolet until his retirement in 2022 when he moved back to Illinois and made his home at Snyder Village Retirement Community in Metamora.

He enjoyed attending and participating in activities at University Heights Christian Church in Indianapolis, IN.  He also enjoyed vacationing with two of his sisters and three friends, especially to Myrtle Beach, SC.

A private family only graveside service at Roanoke Mennonite Cemetery, officiated by Pastor Dennis Kennell, will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, followed by a family meal.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Snyder Village, 1200 East Partridge Street, Metamora, IL 61548.  Online condolences at www.masonfuneralhomes.com.
