Kenneth E. Harris, 75, of Washington passed away on Friday, November 8, 2024, at his residence.

He was born on July 13, 1949, in Huntingdon, TN the son of Floyd and Sue Williams Harris.  He married Donna Cargill on July 27, 1968, in Washington.

Surviving are his wife, two sons Greg Harris of Peoria and Chad of Marquette Heights, IL.  Further surviving are his mother of Yuma, TN, three grandchildren; Jessica Quinn, Robert Waddle, and Kaitlyn Harris; five great grandchildren and one brother Rick Cary of Yuma, Tn.  He was preceded in death by his father and step father Vel Cary and one brother Larry Cary.

He worked for Komatsu Dresser for many years last working as a shop clerk before retiring in 2004.

A funeral service is scheduled for 11 am on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at Twin Oaks missionary Baptist Church in East Peoria. Pastor Richard Morris will officiate. Visitation will be one-hour prior to his service also at the church.  Burial will be in Hillcrest Memory Gardens in rural Morton.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Alzheimer's Association, Central Illinois chapter.  Arrangements have been entrusted with arrangements.
