November 26, 1932 — February 24, 2017

Kenneth Wayne Fleeman, 84 of Washington passed away at 5:15AM Friday, February 24, 2017, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 26, 1932 in Manila, AR the son of the late Walter and Ila McArthur Fleeman. He married Beverly A. Serpette on July 1, 1962 in Meadows, IL. Surviving are his wife, one son Jeffrey Fleeman of Yuma, AZ; three daughters Michele (Jeffrey) Strickler, Marnie (Keith) Grove and Janet (Mark) Johnson all of Washington, IL. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren; Erika, Kailey, Brad, Jonathan, Carrie, Hannah, Jill, Ben and Katie along with one great grandson. Two brothers and one sister preceded him in death. Ken was an honorably discharged U.S. Army Veteran. He worked for Caterpillar Tractor Company for 32 years before retiring in 1982. He enjoyed spending time drinking coffee with his friends in the mornings but especially enjoyed time with his family and grandchildren. Services will be 10:30AM, Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington. Pastor Clayton Tinervin will officiate. Visitation will be Monday, February 27, 2017, from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at Mason-White Funeral Home. Additional visitation will be one-hour prior to his service. Burial will follow his service at Oakwood Cemetery in Metamora with military honors. In lieu flowers, memorials in his name may be given to OSF Hospice or to a charity of the donor's choice.
