Kenneth R. Denham

Kenneth R. Denham age 67 of Metamora, Illinois passed away at 9:55pm Friday Sept. 28, 2012 at OSF St. Francis Hospital in Peoria. He was born Dec. 26, 1944 in Mount Vernon, IL to Carl and Evelyn (Weld) Denham. He married Virginia Gilmore on March 27, 1971 in Bartonville, IL., and she survives. Surviving are his children, Angie (Greg) Morrison of Grayslake, IL., Tiffany (Jesse) Ward of Metamora, Kristen (Jared) Ward of Roanoke, and Anthony Denham of Metamora, 11 grandchildren, one great granddaughter and one brother Carl (Marge) Denham of Cuba, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Janet Griffith. Kenneth was a supervisor with Caterpillar for 33 years retiring Jan. 1, 2007. He was a six year U.S. Navy Veteran serving from 1964 ? 1968 during the Vietnam War. Member of Metamora American Legion Post #89 and was of the Christian faith. Funeral services will be at 11:00am Wednesday October 3, 2012 at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel with Rev. Gary Salm officiating. Visitation will be from 5pm until 7pm Tuesday at the funeral home and also one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Olio Cemetery in Eureka where Military rites will be accorded by Legion Post #89. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made Fresenius Medical Care for Dialysis in East Peoria.
