Keith M. Mishler, 81, of Washington, Illinois, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at his residence.
He was born on June 19, 1944, in Rensselaer, Indiana, to Archie and Ada Frey Mishler. He married Janice Grim on June 6, 1964, in Peoria, Illinois.
He is survived by his wife, two daughters—Connie (Jeff) Henderson of Washington, along with their children AJ (Jackie) Henderson, Bret (Katie) Henderson, and Amanda (Jake) Crabtree—and daughter Kim (Troy) Reed, with their children Cassie (Hayden) Bodine, Brock Reed, and Brody Reed. He also leaves behind six great-grandchildren and one brother, Clyde (Dawn) Mishler of East Peoria. He was preceded in death by a sister Marlene Fecht.
His passion for automobiles truly shaped his career. He proudly owned and managed NAPA Auto Parts in Washington for many years, showing his dedication and love for cars. After his time there, he continued to pursue his passion for driving by working for LS Building Products as a semi-truck driver, staying active and engaged in the automotive industry.
Keith's love for life went far beyond his work. He was a passionate sports fan, especially enjoying bowling and softball in his youth. Keith was a devoted fan of Illini Football and basketball and a Chicago Bears fan. He followed the teams with unwavering support, celebrating their victories and standing by them through the challenges.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of life is planned for 11 am on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Connect Church in Washington. Pastor Dave Jane will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to his service, also at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Tunnels to Towers Foundation.
