Kathryn L. Roberts

Kathryn L. Roberts, 57, of East Peoria passed away on March 22, 2012 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born on June 29, 1954 in Minneapolis, MN the daughter of Kenneth and Jackie Gibson. She married Donald Roberts on May 25, 1985 in East Peoria. He passed away on November 2, 2004. Her mother and one granddaughter also preceded her in death. Surviving is her father of Chicago, one daughter Brenda Whittington (Bill Barnes) of Pekin, one son John (Lauren) Whittington of Washington, one stepdaughter Ruth (Adolf) Walters of Metamora, and one stepson Kipp (Dawn) Roberts of North Pekin. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren as well as one brother John and one sister Linda. She loved to cook, and spending time with her family and many pets. Services will be 11am on Tuesday March 27, 2012 at Mason Funeral Home in Germantown Hills. Visitation will be from 10am until her time of service. Burial will be in Spring Bay Cemetery in Spring Bay. Memorials may be given in her name to TAPS or to Peoria Zoo.
