Kathleen M. Welte age 64 of Metamora, Illinois passed away at 3:15am Friday April 5, 2013 at Snyder Village in Metamora. She was born April 1, 1949 in Peoria to Joseph Ray and Mary A. (Thiel) Welte. Surviving are brothers and sisters, Joanne Scrivner of Metamora, Jim (Peg) Welte of Amhurst, OH., Dick (Ruth) Welte of Princeton, IL., Bill (Rocnro)(Jo) Welte and Mary Jo (Bill) Grebner both of Metamora. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Kathleen worked in housekeeping at Apostolic Christian Home Roanoke and also at Hardees in Eureka. Member of St. Mary?s Catholic Church in Metamora, Altar Rosary Society and the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed the Snyder Village Kitchen Band, bingo, puzzle books and playing Wii Bowling. Funeral Mass will be at 10:30am Tuesday April 9, 2013 at St. Mary?s Church with Father Don Roswkoski officiating. Visitation will one hour prior to mass at the church.
