Katherine E. Curless, 91, of Spring Bay passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Snyder Village in Metamora.  She was born on February 23, 1927 in Spring Bay, IL to Raymond and Ida (Eichorn) Zilch.  Her parents and three sisters preceded her in death.  She married Perry W. Curless on November 27, 1949 in Spring Bay.  He passed away on December 12, 2012.

She is survived by son Dan (Julie) Curless of Germantown Hills; daughter Deb Flanagan of East Peoria; and four grandchildren Joey Courtney, Derek (Heidi) Curless, Zachary Curless, and Daniel Curless.

Katherine loved her family above all things.  She is finally able to rejoin her family in heaven after a five year struggle with Alzheimer's.  She was a life-long member of RiversEdge United Methodist Church in Spring Bay.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at RiversEdge United Methodist Church in Spring Bay with Pastor Binu Peniel officiating.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to her services on Saturday at the church.  Burial will be in Spring Bay Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to her church.  Online condolences at www.masonfuneralhomes.com.
