Karen Carothers age 70 of Washington, Illinois passed away at 6:38am Tuesday June 26, 2012 at OSF Medical Center in Peoria. She was born November 9, 1941 in Galesburg, IL. Surviving are her children, Debbie (Currens) Taylor of Forney, TX, Steve (Sara) Currens of Terrell TX, Carrie Jo Pfeifer of Peoria Heights, IL. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a brother Gene (Betty) Lind of Galesburg. A Memorial service will be at 6:00pm Friday June 29, 2012 at Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington with Rev. Gary Salm officiating. Cremation Rites have been accorded.
