June K. Mcdonough

WASHINGTON…June K. McDonough, 60, of Washington, passed away at 2:40 p.m., Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at her home with her family by her side. June was born on December 8, 1954 in Springfield, Illinois to Harold and Patty (Hartman) Stremsterfer. She married Pat McDonough in Washington on August 2, 1997. Pat survives. Also surviving are her parents of Pleasant Plains, IL.; their four children, Mandi (Chris) Elder and their children, Hannah, Elizabeth and James Patrick of Silvis, Brian (Stefanie) Hays and their children, Brody and Luke of Washington, Geoff Hays of Washington and Tracy (Matt) Simpkins and their children Brantley and Cole of Eurkea; one brother, Norman (Michelle) Stremsterfer of Pleasant Plains and one sister, Ann (Greg) Reiterman of Virginia, IL. June worked as a department manager for WalMart where she had been employed for 27 years. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 19, 2015 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington. Cremation rites have been accorded. Donations in memory of June may be directed to the Childrens Miracle Network.
