Julia was born on June 8, 1923 in Hammond, Indiana to William and Daisy Mae Douglas Junkin. She married William T. Irwin on April 16, 1949 in Hammond. Bill passed away on October 24, 1986 in Washington. Among those surviving is one daughter, Diane (Stephen) Decroix of Washington and one son, Willaim T. Irwin of Vacaville, California. She was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters. Julia had been a member of the Washington Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star and had served as Worthy Matron in 1965 of the local chapter. She was also a great supporter of Disabled American Veterans and the cancer society. She had attended Washington Presbyterian Church. A memorial service for Julia will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at Mason-White Funeral Home at 1 p.m. with the family receiving friends one hour prior.
