Judith M. Picton, 83, of Washington, formerly of Canton, IL passed away at 2:44 pm, Thursday, July 14, 2022, at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria, IL.

She was born on Sunday, August 28, 1938, in Canton, the daughter of I.B. and  Mildred Curtis Noland. She married Tommy Max Picton on August 5, 1956, in Monterey, IL. He passed away on April 6, 2008.  Four brothers and three sisters also preceded her in death.

Surviving are one son Mark Picton of Washington, IL one daughter Doree (Chris) Bonn of Dunlap, IL. Also surviving are five grandchildren; Chelsea, Emma, Andrew, Ryne, Shane, and Brett; three great-grandchildren Ariya, Eden, and Ellyana.  Further surviving are two brothers Larry (Karen) Noland of Canton and Danny (Sue) Noland of Lexington, IL.

She attended Crossroads United Methodist Church in Washington. Judy had a soft heart for animals, enjoyed the country life and being with friends and family.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 21, 2022, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington. Graveside services will be 3:00 pm Friday July 22, 2022 at Greenwood Cemetery in Canton, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be given to TAPS No Kill Animal Shelter https://tapsshelter.org/ . Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington is assisting with arrangements.
