She was born on August 30, 1943 in Peoria, the daughter of William and Grace Brady Eden. She married Roy Allen on May 4, 1990 in Pekin. He passed away on November 17, 2016 in Washington. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one infant granddaughter. Surviving are her six children, Tammi Howell and Maura (James) Everett both of Peoria; Timothy (Erin) Bidleman of Auburn, IL; Terry (Natalie) Bidleman of DesMoines, IA; Theodore Bidleman of Winter Haven, FL; and Lynda Rhodes of Creve Coeur. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren along with three brothers Ronald Eden of Fredona, AZ, Owen Simmons of Peoria and Gregory (Alice) Simmons of Dayton, OH. Judy was a very giving person and was family-oriented, and she would bend over backwards to help someone in need. She had a great love of St. Louis Cardinal's baseball, enjoyed spending time with her friends at Washington McDonalds and doing her crossword puzzles. She had a love for animals, especially her fur babies Mr. J, Annie, Molly and Cocoa. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the entire staff of St. Francis Woods for opening their arms and heart for caring for her as if she was part their own family. Cremation rites have been accorded. A private burial of her remains will be at Stouts Grove Cemetery in rural Danvers. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be given to Peoria Southside Mission or Peoria Area Food Bank.
