Joyce F. Lloyd

Joyce F. Lloyd, 83, of Metamora, IL passed away at 10:05 pm on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. She was born on September 29, 1934 in Oklahoma City, OK to Arthur J. and Mary (Harris) Butler. She married William R. "Bill" Lloyd on June 9, 1956 in Altamont, IL. He passed away on May 22, 2015.

Surviving are children David (Betty) Lloyd of Plymouth, IN, Evelyn (Micheal) McCambridge of Kenosha, WI, and Barbara Lloyd of Peoria Heights, IL; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; sisters Ellen (the late Robert) Moore of Raymore, MO and Mary Sue (Gary) Thomas of Decatur, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law Robert Moore.

Joyce grew up in Altamont, IL. She studied art at EIU and was an accomplished artist her entire adult life. She became a LPN after her children were grown, and worked as a nurse at St. Francis in Peoria for 20 years. Joyce loved God and nature, and instilled a love for both within the hearts of her children. Her greatest joy was family. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Grace Bible Church with Reverend Adam Kipp officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel and also an hour prior to her services on Saturday at the church. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Oakwood Cemetery in Metamora, IL.
