Jonathan E. Wrigley

Jonathan E. Wrigley, 47, of Peoria, IL passed away at 4:45 pm on Saturday, August 22, 2020, at Sharon Healthcare-Elms in Peoria.

He was born on April 10, 1973 in Peoria, IL to Steven and Carol (Velpel) Wrigley. He married Kimberly Nafziger on April 17, 1999 in Peoria. She passed away on February 3, 2019 in Peoria.

Surviving are his two sons, Joshua and Justin Wrigley both of Peoria; parents, Steven and Carol of Peoria; and siblings, Deborah (Gregory) Bailey of Washington, IL, Rebekah Weber of Tennessee, and David (Melissa) Wrigley of East Peoria.

Jonathan was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was a logistic operator for Burklund Distributors. He was a member of the Peoria Astronomical Society and was very involved with the Boy Scouts. Jonathan was a member of United Presbyterian Church in Peoria where he was very active and ran audio visual at the church.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A private family graveside service will be held on Friday, August 28, 2020 at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria with Reverend Debra Avery officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Peoria Astronomical Society or The Jonathan E. Wrigley Trust for the care of his children.
