John J. Rassi Jr., 84, of Metamora, IL, passed away at 7:30 am on Friday, April 15, 2022, at his residence.

He was born on September 6, 1937, in Morton, IL, to John G. and Ethel (Bratton) Rassi. He married Connie A. Schaeffer on March 10, 1962, in Peoria, IL. She passed away on June 2, 2018.

Surviving are his children, Greg (Tina) Rassi and Renetta (James) Baker, both of Metamora; four grandchildren, Samantha (Jake) Weston, Alexis (Mike) Oliver, Rachael Rassi, and Cameron Rassi; four great-grandchildren, Rylee, Odin, Alice, and Della; and sister, Ruth McHenry of Germantown Hills, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Roy Rassi, Ray Rassi, Don Rassi, and Wayne Rassi, and brother-in-law Bob McHenry.

John was a trucker in the transportation industry.
