John J. Carrington

John J. Carrington, 75, of West Peoria, IL passed away on Friday, November 6, 2015 at 8:35 am at Heddington Oaks in West Peoria. He was born on April 7, 1940 in Peoria, IL to Clyde and Alice (Thrall) Carrington. Surviving are nieces and nephews Clyde R. Robison, Jr. of Morton, Grant (Catheryne) Robison of Blountville, TN, Shane (Tammie) Robison of Spring Bay, Lisa Robison and Jean Johnson both of Broomfield, CO; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Clyde R. Robison, Sr. John was a high school graduate and had served in the Marine Corp. He had been a cashier in the hotel industry. Cremation rites have been accorded. No services will be held. Burial of ashes will be held in St. Mary's Cemetery in West Peoria at a later date.
