Joe Edgar Hutton, 83, of Germantown Hills, IL, passed away at 11:33 am on Friday, January 31, 2025, at the Apostolic Christian Home of Roanoke in Roanoke, IL.

He was born on July 15, 1941 in Charleston, IL to Leo L. and Mabel O. (Stout) Hutton. He married Linda L. Taylor on September 30, 1961 in Biloxi, MS.

Surviving are his wife, Linda of Germantown Hills; son, Robert (Denise) Hutton of Bradenton, FL; daughter, Julie (David E.) Remmert of Germantown Hills; and grandsons, Marc Remmert and Maria (Burke) and Mitchell (Ashley) Remmert both of Austin, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Max Hutton and Gary Hutton.

Joe was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and a very patriotic man. He was a self-employed massage therapist and many people throughout the years enjoyed his massages. Joe was a faithful Christian and enjoyed introducing people to Jesus. He also had a great sense of humor and loved to tell corny jokes. Joe was also very artistic and loved to draw, sing and play the bongos.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria with Pastor Gary Salm officiating and military rites accorded. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Apostolic Christian Home of Roanoke, 1102 West Randolph Street, Roanoke, IL 61561. Online condolences at www.masonfuneralhomes.com.
