Jerry W. Rebholz

Jerry W. Rebholz, 79, of Metamora, IL passed away at 8:59 am on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at his residence.

He was born on December 20, 1943, in Peoria, IL, to John W. and Lettitia (Gale) Rebholz, Jr. He married Carol S. Bong on October 17, 1988 in St. Louis, MO. She passed away on October 1, 2022.

Surviving are his children, Jerry (Nancy) Rebholz, Jr. of Germantown Hills, IL, Jeff (Toni) Rebholz of Pekin, and John (Heather) Rebholz of San Antonio, TX; step-children, Carrie (Harvey) Wright of Farmington, MN, Ronald (Tracy) Schott of Pekin, IL, and Jeremy (Kelly) Schott of Springfield, IL; thirteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and special nephews, Kedric (Lisa) Curtis of Mahtomedi, MN and Todd (Angie) McKenna of Pekin, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Barbara Kelly.

Jerry was self-employed and worked as a weigh master for Roanoke Concrete for 33 years. He coached youth sports for many years in East Peoria and Metamora. Jerry was a former member of the East Peoria Jaycees, former President of the MTHS Athletic Boosters, and a member of RiversEdge United Methodist Church in Spring Bay, IL. He was a fan of the Chicago Bears, St. Louis Cardinals, University of Illinois and Bradley University.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 am on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel with Reverend Tom Cox officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:30 am until service time, also on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fondulac Township Cemetery in East Peoria.
