Jerrene Elliott

Jerrene Elliott, 75, of Washington passed away on Friday, January 24, 2014 at her residence. She was born on March 7, 1938 in Danville, VA the daughter of Percy J. and Mabel Vaughn Gibson. She married Tony Elliott on June 17, 1956 in Rockingham County, NC. He passed away on August 27, 2010 in Washington. Surviving are one son Kevin (Rhonda) Elliott of Springville, CA. one grandson Josiah Elliott and his daughter Isabelle of San Diego, CA; one granddaughter Sarah (Andrew) Young of Marysville, WA. Also surviving are two sisters Cora (Don) Joyce of Randleman, NC and Bettye Ferrell of Reidsville, NC; two brothers Kenneth (Glenda) Gibson of Greensboro, NC and James (Pat) Gibson of Reidsville, NC. Jerrene was a former member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Peoria. Cremation Rites will be accorded and there will be no services. Memorials in her name may be made to the Rural Home Missionary Association in Morton. Mason-White Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
