Jerone D. Armstrong

Jerone D. Armstrong, 74, of Peoria, IL passed away Sunday, January 12, 2020, at Generations of Peoria.

He was born on February 27, 1945 in Peoria the son of Rems and Fern Keltner Armstrong. Surviving are five children Scott Armstrong of East Peoria, IL, Tari (Tim) Fauth of Washington,  IL, Crisy (Dave) Siebert of Edwards, IL, Patsy (Butch) Beccue of Delavan, IL and Angie (Jeff) Stanton of Washington, IL.  Also surviving are 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, two brothers, David (Carla) Armstrong of East Peoria and Donald Armstrong of Pekin along with one sister Jacqueline Kipper of Missouri.

Jerone retired from Caterpillar Tractor Co. after 30 years as a machinist. He enjoyed nature, hunting and fishing.  He was a loving and kind father, son and brother, beloved by many family and friends.

Cremation rites have been accorded and a private family service will be held at a later date.
