Jerome "Jerry" Connor

Jerome "Jerry" P. Connor, 77, of Morton passed away at 2:05am Monday, April 16, 2018 at OSF Richard L. Owen Hospice Home in Peoria. He was a die-hard Cardinals fan and would have been happy to know that he left this world when they were in the middle of a five-game winning streak.

Jerry was born on October 17, 1940 in Lincoln, IL, the son of the late Jerome F. and Marguerite Whitaker Connor. Surviving are three children, Maria Trisler of Peoria, IL, Jay Connor of Rockford, MI, and Megan Connor of Akron, OH. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Keegan, Mallory, Michael, Gavin, and Luke.

Jerry was a veteran who served with the United States Air Force from 1958-1963. He was a member of the Tremont American Legion

Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00pm Saturday, May 19, 2018, at the Tremont American Legion, 24584 E Lake Windermere Rd. in Tremont. A time to celebrate his life will immediately follow the service.  In lieu of flowers, donations in his name can be given to the Tremont American Legion, 24584 E Lake Windermere Rd, Tremont, IL 61568.
