Jennifer H. Adams, 58, of Eureka, IL, passed away at 10:45 pm on Friday, August 2, 2024, at her residence due to a house fire.

She was born on November 20, 1965, in Kankakee, IL, to Sam E. and Myrtle (Borger) Mezo. She married Steve L. Adams on December 31, 2004.

Surviving are her husband, Steve of Eureka; two sons, Michael Bryon of East Peoria, IL and Brandon Bryon of Fortworth, TX; brother, Samuel (Marcie) Mezo of Arkansas; three nieces; and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Jennifer was from the Black Foot Indian Heritage. She had worked as a chef and loved to cook. She enjoyed playing Uno, gardening, and sewing. She loved her animals very much. She was also a member of Metamora Mennonite Church.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Metamora Mennonite Church with Pastor Eric Potter officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to her service, also on Saturday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to a charity of the donor's choice.
