Jennie Marie Pitner, 89, of Morton, IL passed away at 6:22 pm on Sunday, April 1, 2018 at Apostolic Christian Restmor in Morton, IL. She was born on February 19, 1929 in Taylorville, IL to Hector and Olga (Titran) Honore. She married Kenneth R. Pitner on August 29, 1953 in Pana, IL. He passed away on May 21, 1985.

Surviving are daughter Jennie (Dennis) Forcum of Metamora; grandchildren Matt (Amber) Forcum of Dunlap, Russ (Beth) Forcum of Cedar Falls, IA, Sam (Laura) Forcum of Ingalls, IN, and Jennie (Ryan) Brooks of Metamora; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.

Jennie was a self-employed CSR typist for Peoria and Tazewell counties, retiring in 1985. She was a member of First Christian Church in Decatur, IL and recently attended New Hope Church in Germantown Hills, IL.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, April 6, 2018 at Mason Funeral Home Germantown Hills Chapel with Pastor Kent Smith officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until time of her service on Friday at the funeral home. Graveside services will follow later that afternoon at 2:30 pm at Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville, IL.
