Jeffrey R. Callaway, 54, of Germantown Hills, IL passed away surrounded by his family at 3:15 pm on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at his residence. He was born on October 25, 1962 in Peoria, IL to Robert T. and Marilee V. (Holtke) Callaway. He married Michele A. Wells on April 24, 1982 in Peoria Heights, IL. She survives. Also surviving are his three daughters Megan R. (James) Weekley of Germantown Hills, Caitlin R. (Lee) Cleary of Metamora, and Kirsten R. Callaway at home; one granddaughter Lillie Weekley; his parents of Peoria; brother Randal (Deb) Callaway of Peoria Heights; father-in-law and mother-in-law Joe and Louise Wells of Metamora; and his dogs Kitty and Bunnie. He was preceded in death by two brothers Brian and Tom Callaway. Jeffrey enjoyed building things for his family. He loved being outdoors and fishing. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2016 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Mason Funeral Home Germantown Hills Chapel. A private family burial will be held later.
