Jason Alan Anske, 46, of Washington, IL, formerly of Pekin, IL, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 9, 2022. He was born on May 20, 1975, in Peoria, IL, to Gary Anske and Judy Newlun-Anske. He was married to Gina Anske for 16 years and separated in 2015, and she survives. Surviving are his son, Noah Anske (Cassie Monroe) of Washington; daughter, Kelsey Anske (Cody Bragg) of Pekin, IL; mother, Judy Newlun-Smith of Pekin, IL; two grandchildren, Grayson Hunt and Hudson Bragg, both of Pekin, IL; sister, Joan (Donald) Anske-Murphy of Tower Hill, IL; brother, Eric (Holly) Anske of Delavan, IL; step-brother, James Smith of Pekin, IL; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Gary Anske, stepfather Dan Smith, and grandmother Dorothy Newlun-Mulligan. Jason served in the U.S. Air Force. He worked for G & D Integrated for 20 years. Jason was hard working and thought of others before himself. He always strived to do better to be better, be accountable and responsible, devoted, loyal and never self serving. Jason loved his family very much and will be forever in their hearts. Jason accepted christ as his savior and was baptized at Faith Baptist Church November 28, 1982. He attended Northwoods Community Church Peoria IL.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at Bethany Community Church in Washington. Pastor Ben Davidson will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Monday, March 14, 2022, at Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington. Additional visitation will be from 9:00 am until 9:45 am at Bethany Community Church. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery in Washington.
