Janie Lenover

WASHINGTON?Janie Marie Lenover, 85, of Washington, passed away at 9:55 p.m., Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at Rosewood Care Center in East Peoria. Janie was born in Vincennes, Indiana on October 6, 1927. She married Clarence Lenover on December 7, 1946 in Pekin. Clarence passed away on September 2, 2012 in East Peoria. Among those surviving are three sons, Clifford (Diana) Lenover and Earl Lenover, both of Washington and Wayne (Catherine) Lenover of Eureka; one brother, George ("Pete") Ballard of Washington; 12 grandchildren 30 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one brother, one sister and three great grandchildren. Prior to Janie?s retirement she had worked for Eureka-Williams in Bloomington for many years. She was of the Nazaarene faith. Janie enjoyed fishing and camping and would travel at every opportunity. Funeral services for Janie will be on Monday, July 15, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Mason-White Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Lingenfelter officiating. Burial will follow in Glendale Cemetery in Washington. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Memorials for Janie may be directed to Rosewood Care Center in East Peoria.
