On Tuesday, November 28, 2023, Janice Lee Staley, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away at age 82. An avid reader, Janice earned a bachelor's degree in education at Eureka College where she met her husband of 61 years. She loved her career as an elementary school teacher and taught in district 140 for over 20 years. She enjoyed playing the piano, going for long walks, and visiting with her close friends.

Janice was best known for her quick-witted humor, supportive caregiving, strong faith, and generous spirit. Born to Ralph and Jeanette Lewman on August 4,1941 in Georgetown, IL, she is survived by her husband Charles Staley, sons Brent and Blake Staley, daughter Shawn Staley, two granddaughters, and two great grandchildren. She will be forever remembered in our hearts.
