Janette L. Hindman

Janette L. Hindman, 36, of Metamora, IL passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center. She was born on July 13, 1979 in Peoria, IL to William E. and Rita A. (Erley) Hindman. Surviving are her mother Rita Hindman of Metamora; sisters Jennifer (Tony) Mata of Metamora and Amy (Craig) Carrithers of Peoria; Amber Barnett of Peoria; and Connor Moore of Metamora. She was preceded in death by her father, sister Heidi Hindman, and her grandparents. Janette had a love for animals. She enjoyed playing sudoku, and looking for bargains on the Internet. She loved drawing and watching horse races. Janette was respected by many for her enduring strength and ability to overcome all of the health concerns throughout her entire life. She was a true fighter and an inspiration for overcoming cancer multiple times from the age of 12. With heart concerns from birth, she was still able to prove that the cancer would not win. She was a very strong woman and an inspiration to all who knew her. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Germantown Hills Baptist Church with Pastor Nat Kealen officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until service time at the church. Burial will be held in Magnolia City Cemetery.
