Janet Sue Clark, 76, of Metamora, IL, passed away at 9:05 pm on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at her residence.

She was born on July 18, 1948, in Streator, IL, to Orville R. and Hilda M. (Folkers) Strayer. She married Raymond E. "Ray" Clark on July 31, 1966 in Toluca, IL. He passed away on March 1, 2015.

Surviving are her children, Terry (Mary) Clark and Lisa Clark both of Metamora and Jennifer (Brian) Downs of East Peoria, IL; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and sister, Jane Mitzelfelt of Chillicothe, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Ronald Strayer.

Janet enjoyed playing the guitar and piano, crocheting, quilting, reading and studying the Bible, and sharing God's Word. She attended Grace Presbyterian Church in Peoria.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel. A Memorial Service will follow at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Gary Salm officiating. Following her service, burial of ashes will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Metamora.
