Janet L. Cheatham

Janet L. Cheatham, 78, of East Peoria, IL passed away on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Snyder Village in Metamora.

She was born on January 17, 1943 to Scott and Mildred (Griffin) Carr. They preceded her in death as well as her husband Gene Cheatham, step-son Gregg Cheatham, infant sister Betty Carr, and nephew Patrick Carr.

Survivors include daughters, Teresa (Ron) Lambert of Washington and Laurie (Grover) Van Dyke of East Peoria; grandchildren, Justin (Hannah) Lambert, Emily (Jeremy) Kingsley, and Kyle Reeder; great-grandchildren, Lincoln, Hattie, Lennon, and Elias; brother Bill (Judy) Carr of Benton, IL; nephew, Scott Carr; and niece, Renee Osborn.

Janet worked in retail sales at Sears.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A private burial of ashes will be held at a later date.
