Born and raised on a farm in Sycamore, Janet's early years were filled with the simple joys of rural life, which instilled in her a lifelong appreciation for nature and the outdoors. Every summer, she eagerly anticipated her vacations out West with her children, where they created enduring memories. These journeys were not merely escapes but a return to the essence of what she loved most, family, and the beauty of the natural world.

Janet was deeply committed to her faith.

Her roots ran deep at the family farm in Sycamore, IL where she was raised. Janet's return to the farm with her children provided an opportunity to connect them and to visit her parents.

She was a woman whose sweetness was evident to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. To say that everyone loved Janet is no exaggeration. Janet's sweet nature was a gift to all who knew her, and her memory will be cherished forever.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Snyder Village for their compassionate care of Janet and her entire family.

The family will privately celebrate her life, and the burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Pekin. In lieu of flowers, a memorial in her name may be given to St. Jude or the American Cancer Society.
