Jane Brandt

Mary "Jane" Brandt, 88, of Washington passed away at 5:42am Friday, September 30, 2016 at Unity Point Health-Proctor in Peoria, IL. She was born on November 16, 1927 in Ledyard, IA the daughter of Robert J. and Freida Von Heibner Womack. She married Charles R. Brandt on August 27, 1950 in Peterson, IA. Surviving is her husband of Washington, their children Rebecca A. Brandt of Washington, IL Steven (Lori) Brandt of Arlington Heights, IL and Linda Brandt Pinney of Ankeny, IA. Also surviving are two grandchildren Brandon Pinney of Denver, CO and Kristen (Robert) Pinney Stratton of Tempe, AZ. She was preceded in death by one brother Robert Womack; two sisters Ruby Townsend and Viola Womack. Jane was a member of the Washington Presbyterian Church. She was an excellent oil and china painter and was a member of the China Painters Guild. Private services will be held at Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington, IL with Pastor Rebecca Weltman officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Peterson, IA.
