James A. Wind

James A. Wind, 74, of Washington passed away at 5:08pm Thursday, April 7, 2016 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Jim was born on August 9, 1941 in Peoria the son of the late Raymond and Margaret Hepler Wind. Surviving are two sons Shawn Wind of Chillicothe and Shad (Angie) Wind of Washington. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, two great grandchildren along with two brothers Roger Wind of Washington and Robert (Thelma) Wind of Metropolis, IL. Jim was an honorably discharged US Army Veteran and later worked for various trucking companies in the Peoria area as a truck driver. He was a member of Calvary Evangelical Mennonite Church in Washington. Funeral Services will be 11am, Friday, April 15, 2016 at Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington with Rev. Ken Sistrunk officiating. Visitation will be one-hour prior to his service. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery in Washington.
