James G. Tanton

James G. Tanton age 56 of Cazenovia, Illinois passed away at 11:05am Saturday July 28, 2012 at his residence. He was born June 1, 1956 in Peoria, IL, to John F. and Marilyn (Martini) Tanton. He is survived by two brothers, Doug Tanton of Cazenovia, and Edward (Karen) Tanton of Bloomington, IL, a nephew Tyler Tanton and a niece Erika Rocke. He was preceded in death by his parents. James worked on the family farm and helped with Cazenovia Mercantile Company. He enjoyed living on the farm, being with animals, and was of the Protestant faith. Funeral services will be at 10:00am Thursday August 2, 2012 at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel. Visitation will be from 6pm until 8pm Wednesday at the funeral home and also one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery in Washington.
