CHICAGO?Jacquelyn (Jackie) F. McDonough, 84, passed away at 5:50 a.m., Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge with her children by her side. Jackie was born October 21, 1929 in Chicago of Cyril and Leontine (Anthony) DeWindt. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank (Buddy) McDonough. Jackie had 10 brothers and sisters that proceeded her in death. She leaves behind three daughters; Linda (Michael) Malott of Washington, Illinois, Karen (Jim) Garzino of Naperville and Jean (Leo M.) Golda of Barrington, five grandchildren; Leo A. (Jamie Golda), Rachel (Riley Fauth), Joe Golda, Kayla Krippner (Matt Green), Kyle Krippner and two great grandchildren who made her smile; Abbie Fauth and Leo J. Golda. Jackie was intensely independent and enjoyed clipping coupons so she could spend her savings at the casino, always enjoying playing penny slots for hours on end and enjoying the scratch off lottery tickets that grandchildren would give her for birthday and holidays. A funeral mass for Jackie will be celebrated at noon on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 2515 West Palatine Road in Inverness with Father Terry Keehan officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the mass at the church. Private graveside services will be held at Maryhill Cemetery in Niles. In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated to St Jude Children's Hospital.
