Jacob Brandon Polston age 18 of Germantown Hills, Illinois passed away at 11:30am Sunday Nov. 10, 2013 in Metamora. He was born March 28, 1995 in Peoria to Shawn C. and Lisa M. (McGonagle) Polston. Surviving is his mother of Wellsville, N.Y., his father of Bartonville, IL., sister, Sami Hess of Peoria, and a brother Dallas Hess of Peoria.; grandmothers, Nancy McCann of Spring Bay IL.and Carol Polston of Bay View Gardens, IL. Also surviving are his aunts and uncles, Theresa (Eric) Haynes of Germantown Hills, Louise (Jerry) Harr of Bay View Gardens, Mary (Terry) Sopher of Peoria Heights, Peggy Swadinsky of Peoria, Doug (Cindi) Hilst of Bay View Gardens, Travis Polston of E. Peoria, Dawn (Billy) Parks of Washington, IL. and many cousins, great aunts and great uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Red (Willard C.) McCann,and Connie Polston; great grandparents, Arlie (Lucy Pearl) Polston; great grandmother Babe (Mary) Mendenhall and cousin Evan Ramos. A 2013 graduate of Metamora High School , Jacob was involved with football and baseball and was attending Illinois Central College working towards his welding certificate. He loved lifting weights, staying in shape, and the outdoors riding dirt bikes, four wheelers and playing video games with his cousin Calvin. Funeral services will be at 7:00pm Thursday Nov. 14, 2013 at Mason Funeral Home Germantown Hills Chapel with Rev. David Coyle and Jake Coyle officiating. Visitation will be from 3pm until service time at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded after services.
