Jacob Daniel Dias, 26, of Metamora, passed away Monday, November 24, 2014. Jake was born September 29, 1988 in Stockton, CA to Joseph and Theresa (Alexander) Dias. He is survived by his parents, and siblings: Joseph (Jaclyn) Dias of Ozark, MO, Amy (Justin) Boyden of Whichita Falls, TX, Charlene (Michael) Guison of Springfield, MO, Samuel Dias of Metamora, IL, Grandparents: Donald and Jeri Dias of West Plains, MO, Elmont and LaVona George of Ashland, OR; Cousins: Kristopher, Navaar, and Denver Brown of Springfield, MO, Fiance: Celeste Jones and family of Readlyn, IA, and many, many more beloved Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, and dear friends. Jake is preceded in death by his Grandmother: Glena Dias. Jake graduated from Metamora Township High School in 2007 and was currently working as a Construction Superintendent. Jake was passionate about exercising, eating healthy, and encouraging others to have discipline in caring for their bodies; he was also a Certified Personal Trainer. His greatest joys were deepening his family relationships and sharing the gospel with anyone searching for peace and spiritual progression. He dedicated two years of his life to missionary work, serving primarily in Vera Cruz, Mexico. Jake was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and attended the Morton Ward. Funeral Services for Jake will be held Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 11:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Morton Ward (2530 N. Morton Ave, Morton, IL). Bishop Jeff Braun will officiate. Visitation will be held Friday, November 28, 2014 at Mason Funeral Home, Metamora Chapel from 4 - 7:00 PM, and also an hour prior to services on Saturday at the church building in Morton. Burial will take place at Oak Lawn City Cemetery, West Plains, MO, on Monday, December 1, 2014. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Missionary Fund. Arrangements have been entrusted with Daniel J.
