Imogene Knecht-Phillis, 90, of Eureka, IL, formerly of El Paso, IL passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at 4:15 pm at Maple Lawn Health Care, Eureka. She was born on May 4, 1924 in Bloomington, IL to Louis and Jennie (Ripple) Knecht. Surviving are Ruth Waldschmidt, Jerry Waldschmidt and Janet Weldon. She was preceded in death by her husband. She was a bookkeeper for a car dealer for many years. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at 10:00 am at East Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Bloomington with Reverend Doane Brubaker officiating.
