Henry was born on April 19, 1956 in Peoria to Rolla and Frances Simmons Nieukirk. He married Patricia Mahony in Washington on June 24, 1978. Pat survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Courtney (Nicholas) Witmer and Mallory Nieukirk, both of Washington; one brother, Ronald (Jane) Nieukirk of Washington and five sisters, Judy (Delmer) Myers of Groveland, Tana Lee Schoon and Mary Nieukirk, both of Washington, Deborah (Duane) Klehm of Lacon and Karen (Benjamin) Jackson of Metamora and many loving nieces and nephews.
