Helen F. Lykins, 74, of Washington passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at her residence. She was born on March 22, 1947, in Peoria the daughter of Milton and Alma Brinker Klokkenga.

Surviving are one daughter Jennifer Castens of Paducah, KY, two nieces, Sandy Walston, and Christy Frates; three nephews Greg Myers, Tony Frates and Jerry Frates.  Her parents and two sisters Christine Frates and Jewell Myers preceded her in death.

She was an activity director working for Housing and Urban Development at Southside Manor Apartments.  She attended St. Peter Lutheran Church in East Peoria.

Cremation rites have been accorded.  A private family service will be held at a later date.
