WASHINGTON?Helen Ann Becker, 65, of Washington, passed away Thursday afternoon, June 13, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. Helen was born on January 20, 1948 in Washington to Harold and Anne (Boice) Foster. She married Russ Becker in Washington on May 1, 1976. Russ survives. Also surviving is one daughter, Aimee (Brian) Nussel of Washington; one son, Brian (Jen) Becker of Washington; two loving grandchildren, Madison and Peyton Nussel; one brother, John (Sharon) Foster of Washington and one sister, Mary Eakle of Washington. She was preceded in death by two of her brothers, Bill and Fred Foster. Helen had retired from Edward Jones where she had worked in the office of Jim Crowe in Washington as the branch administrator. Prior to working at Edward Jones, Helen worked for 10 years at the First National Bank in Washington. She was a graduate of Mid States College in Peoria. Helen loved spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren. She also loved to travel, spend time in her flower garden and photography. Helen had also enjoyed playing golf and volleyball as well as writing poetry. Helen was a member of Grace Bible Church where funeral services will be held on Monday, June 17, 2013 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Adam Kipp officiating. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at Mason-White Funeral Home and from 10 to 10:45 at the church on Monday. Memorials for Helen may be directed to the Nussel Education Fund at Washington State Bank for the benefit of her grandchildren or her church.
