Hedwig Guzman

Hedwig Guzman, 89, of Germantown Hills passed away in the company of her loved ones on Thursday June 14, 2012 at her residence. She was born on March 23, 1923 in Eppingen Baden Germany. She married Arturo Guzman in Peoria, IL. Hedwig was preceded in death by her parents and 10 siblings. Her husband, five children, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren survive Hedwig. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and has been the heart and soul of our family, we will miss her dearly. Hedwig and Arturo founded, owned and operated the Peoria Hofbrau Restaurant since 1984. A private family service will be held on Sunday June 17 at Mason Funeral Home in Germantown Hills.
