EUREKA-Harriette Ann (Russell) Day of Eureka, IL died at her home on August 16, 2016. Harriette was born on December 18, 1927 in Tullahoma, TN and married Robert Lee Day of Tullahoma who died on October 23, 1982. Also preceding her in death was one sister Jean Russell. Surviving are five sons, Robert Stephen (Vicki) Day, Gary Phillip Day, Sanford Mark (Denise) Day, and twins James Kyle and Edwin Brian (Dena) Day. Grandchildren surviving are Kirpatrick Jon (Mina), Katherine Ann, Aaron, Adam, Alex, Carolynn, Elizabeth, and Andrea. Great grandchildren surviving are Liam, Lola, Kendra, and Skyler. Harriette is also survived by her brother Sanford Russell. She worked at Caterpillar 24 years retiring December 31, 1993. Harriette was a kind and compassionate woman who devoted her life to her sons and their families. She always had a smile and positive attitude giving everything without needing anything in return. She will be greatly missed. Cremation Rites have been accorded. A Time to celebrate Harriette's life will be held at Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington, IL on September 24, 2016 from 10:00 am- 12:00 pm. A Celebration of Life lunch will follow at Vietnam Veterans of Illinois (The Bunker) 100 Bittersweet Road. Washington, IL. In lieu of flowers, an account has been set up at CEFCU in Washington, IL.
