Harriett A. Gustafson, 86, of Washington passed away at 11:15am, Saturday, June 23, 2018, at Rosewood Care Center in East Peoria.

She was born on December 24, 1931 in East Peoria, IL the daughter of Harry and Bertha Lobsiger Kapp.

She married David H. Gustafson on December 13, 1958 in Peoria.  He preceded her in death on June 20, 2013.  One son Douglas Madach also preceded her in death.

Surviving are one daughter Deborah (Dave) Manley of East Peoria, and one son Steven (Diane) Gustafson of Hammond, IN.  Also surviving are four grandchildren Shawn Daugherty, Kevin (Bethany) Daugherty, Heather Baker and Sophie (Corey) Garrett along with one great-grand son Frank Baker.

A homemaker, Harriett was a member of Habitat for Humanity in Chillicothe for many years.  She had a love of birds, flowers, gardening and crocheting.
