Harold Hundt Jr.

Harold E. Hundt Jr., 70, of Peoria passed away at 11:26PM, Thursday, October 4, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his family.

He was born on July 21, 1948 in Peoria the son of Harold and Mildred Chapman Hundt Sr.   He married Brenda C. Maddan on July 26, 1969 in Peoria.

Surviving are his wife of Peoria, and their children Robert (Angela) Hundt of Bellevue, IL, Dawn (Rick) Crane of Washington and James Hundt of Peoria.   Also surviving are five grandchildren and one great grandson.

He worked for Caterpillar Tractor Co. for 31 years last working as a tool investigator retiring in 1999.  He was of the Nazarene faith, and attended Bridgeway Community Church in Pekin.  He enjoyed living life, fishing, tinkering with small engines and spending time with his family.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for 11:00AM Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Bridgeway Community Church 3216 Veterans Dr. in Pekin.  There will be no visitation.   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family.  To share a memory with his family visit www.masonfuneralhomes.com.
