Grace Louise (Allen) Evans

East Peoria – Grace Louise Evans, 81, of Bayview Gardens, IL, passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side at 9:18 am on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at her home.

She was born on August 30, 1940, in Hamilton County in southern Illinois, to Everett and Leathie (Austin) Allen. Louise married Lawrence F. "Larry" Evans on August 18, 1956 in Corinth, MS. He passed away on September 22, 2014.

She is survived by her four daughters, Phyllis (Robert) Fisher of Cazenovia, IL, Donna (Robin) Seils of Ballwin, MO, Cathy (Perry) Brant of Bayview Gardens, and Tina (Greg) Pringle of Sparland, IL; six granddaughters; eleven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Virginia "Sissy" Bell of Morton, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, eleven siblings, and one grandson, Scottie.

Louise was a homemaker and also worked at Avanti's Restaurant for 25 years. She enjoyed traveling with her daughters and spending time with her family.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741 or to the Alzheimer's Association, Central Illinois Chapter, 614 West Glen Avenue, Peoria, IL 61614.
